2 days ago her bf picks her up after work as planned and give her a welcome surprised.
he goes :" i tell u something..." and she told it might be a bad news for a start. she twitched one of her eyebrow up when he started smiling and giggling as he announced his surprise.
apparently he called up to this slimming saloon while he was flipping his newspaper, getting his usual "exercise". some kind receptionist answered his call and he told her "my gf needs to lost weight"
Emily thought that the receptionist was going to burst into laughter upon hearing this from her bf. the newspapers did published the correct information and her bf thought it's a good deal to get Emily back into shape. well.. thou' it might seems cheap to others. it definitely doesn't spell cheap to Emily. she only came to realise tat the whole package was to come up to 400 bucks.
so on a precious Saturday dating, Emily and her bf took the chance to make their way to the slimming saloon for her first treatment. 2 of them were greeted by 2 sweet receptionist and Emily was told to fill in some history details. it was the usual stuffs, asthma? diabetes? slimming pills before? blablabla...
somewhere while filling.. she came across this question:"what are you trying to achieve?"
looking at how hard she was trying to pen down her thoughts, her bf kindly took the pen and wrote :" TO BE CONVINCED"
NICE....
the couple later was ushered to upstairs, where they are introduced to a slimming consultant.. and as usual... oh... yr gf.. hum... she's abit... hum... dun worry... we'll have this... and this for her... i'm very confident that she'll be in good shape pretty soon!
and right after, she brought out her secret weapon, THE BIG CALCULATOR and goes "tack tack tack" so total package came up to this :$12,800/-
Emily's jaw dropped. trying not to show her expression that much, she smiled and looked at her bf. she hopes he will say " humm... in that case maybe u can give me the brochure and we'll think about it"
but den her bf gave her another surprise. he asked if any credit cards have got further discount.
yeah well... as usual.. the consultant will act the usual way.. go drink tea and pretend "let mi talk to my boss". she came back with the lowest package of $8000.00.
emily's bf sign the package for her.
how sweet! emily's so touched! and i think she loves her bf as much as he loves her too.
jumping in joy as she break this good news to me, she told mi she's not going to waste her bf's effort and love and will promise to go into proper diet liao.
haaa. guess there's no need to mi to get her out for desserts oreadi.
